Capsim simulations are designed to be hard. The interconnected decisions — R&D locking in sensor positions, capacity being difficult to reverse, finance decisions compounding across rounds — trip up even the most dedicated students.

When I started helping classmates with Capsim in 2012, I noticed the same patterns over and over: students who understood business theory still struggled because Capsim has specific mechanics that aren't obvious. They needed someone who had studied those mechanics deeply and could explain them clearly.

What started as helping a few classmates became a full service that has now helped over 500 students across every Capsim product: Capstone, Core, CompXM, Foundation, GlobalDNA, and OPS.

Every student I work with gets a strategy built for their specific situation — their competitor set, their market position, their financial constraints. There's no one-size-fits-all answer in Capsim, and I don't pretend there is.

One student came to me in Round 5, ranked last in their cohort of 22 teams. After three rounds working together, they finished in the top six. The recovery path: R&D repositioning in Traditional and Low End to hit the drift windows precisely, aggressive automation in rounds six and seven while competitors held back, and a finance restructure that eliminated emergency loan exposure entirely.
